An illustration of Marvel Comics' Psylocke, in her Australian outback gear of the late 80s, completed as a product of my $30 Commission Sale, finished in neutral gray Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils on 9 " X 12" Strathmore drawing paper.
The costume looks infinitely better in your (may I call it) uncomplicated style.
There's a whole subcult of us out here that prefer the Betsy Braddock version. This whole piece , by the way, is quite an nice composition. The boot top cutout thing is really cool.
I'm with you, Mark. When I was reading the Uncanny X-Men, back then, I much preferred her as Betsy Braddock, sister of Captain Britain. Oh, well...
Awesome awesome. By far my favorite version of Psylocke. Glad many people are re-discovering this version, and more art and cosplay are being done of it.
Sweet! I love what you did with her power effect. The asymmetry really emphasizes the energy of the piece.
Looks great, Tim. I too have always liked that era Psylocke, and the whole team during that time in fact.
That is very nice. I liked Psylocke best before she went all ninja.
